Arbogast Van of The Week: 2010 GMC Explorer Mobility Van

This week, Dave Arbogast Conversion Van Depot is highlighting a 2010 GMC Explorer Mobility Van. The van is an all-wheel-drive model with the Explorer X-SE package that includes 20″ chrome wheels, medallion series ground effects, a rear sunroof, and a chrome mesh grill.

This van mixes functionality with comfort and premium entertainment. The driver and passenger enjoy premium heated leather seats, a touch screen navigation system, and a Blaupunkt stereo. A rear view camera is integrated into the navigation system. This allows the driver to see obstacles while in reverse.

The truly unique thing about this van is the top of the line Braun Vangater II wheelchair lift. The compact, three piece, folding platform, occupies minimal space on the inside of the van. You van also open the rear door without having to deploy the lift. The Vangater’s platform is 30″ by 43″ and it has a fully electronic operation.

The rear passengers enjoy a state-of-the-art entertainment center. This van features a 26″ Sony LCD HDTV and Blaupunkt surround sound. Other features include accent opera lighting, rear climate control, wireless headphones, and a three piece power sliding sofa.

I love working with conversion van customers! The product sells itself so it makes my job easy! We just try to get customers and their families into the perfect van to fit their needs.

Mobility Vans also have a special place in my heart. I had never sold I mobility van until I started at Arbogast.  It truly makes you feel your making someone’s life easier.

I am from Troy and lived here all my life. I lived in Kentucky for five years while attending Eastern Kentucky University. I love Ohio, I’m a true Buckeye! O-H-I-O!

How long have you worked here?
I’ve worked at Arbogast for a little under a year, but I’ve been in the car business for ten years. I can’t get away from it, it’s my passion!

What do you drive?
I drive a boat! I love my 1997 Cadillac DeVille but everyone tends to make fun of me.

What’s your favorite TV show?
I’m a big fan of Grey’s Anatomy and anything football.

What’s one thing people will be surprised to know about you?
I’m kind of a nerd…I work 24/7 on cars.  Everyone makes fun of me because I am absolutely obsessed with my job.  I think it’s a good thing, it’s how I was raised.  I live to work, not work to live…

What is the best thing about working at Arbogast?
I love the people I work with, I love the atmosphere, and I get to pursue my hobby everyday!  Cars, computers, and talking with people is what I do. This is the perfect job for me!
