On February 2nd, 1887, Groundhog Day, featuring a rodent meteorologist, was celebrated for the first time at Gobbler’s Knob in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. According to tradition, if a groundhog comes out of his hole on this day and sees his shadow, there will be 6 more weeks of winter. No shadow means an early spring.
Why do we do this? Who knows? It IS the only day of the year we give the groundhog any love, but there must be more to it than that. Or maybe it’s just a tradition that people are afraid to stand up and say, “Hey that’s dumb.”
What does that have to do with a conversion van? Well, uh, not much to be honest. Just a little tradition I find interesting and pointless. But now that we have brought it up–
Conversion vans are cool—way more than, say, groundhogs. They can be custom built to your specifications—they get a lot better gas mileage than an SUV—they are easier to drive, and a lot easier to park. Spacious interiors, luxurious amenities, and road going comfort make conversion vans among the most versatile vehicles on the road today.
It doesn’t really matter whether our furry friend sees his shadow or not…and I’m sure he wonders what all the fuss is about. Whether it snows tomorrow or spring begins, Explorer Conversion van owners are set to go.
Dave Arbogast in Troy, Ohio specializes in conversion vans—you’ll have to get your groundhog fix somewhere else! A large inventory is of low top, high top and mobility vans are on line, and our van experts are both friendly and efficient. Located just minutes from the Dayton International Airport, we can pick you up and have you on your way in no time, or deliver your van to your driveway anywhere in North America.
Call 1-866-975-3257 today and begin the best buying experience you will ever have! (Groundhogs are not included!)

The quarterback wants to be traded from his lousy team or he may contemplate retirement. The team has already refused his request, so now what?
The quarterback is just 31, so to contemplate retirement (and when is the last time you contemplated anything?) is a big step. Here is a consideration. He is sick and tired of losing, and he is sick and tired of being beat up by 330 pound defensive lineman. That would make anyone contemplate retirement.
Now is the perfect time to walk away, while he can still walk. The quarterback has a wife and young twins, so why not leave all those smelly linemen behind and see the country in a conversion van from Dave Arbogast in Troy, Ohio.
Conversion vans are comfortable and versatile vehicles. They are great on the open road for those family getaways, but can also be used as the family vehicle around town. Regardless of where the quarterback is headed, a conversion van will take him there in style and comfort.
Conversion vans can be built to the quarterbacks specification, and may also be equipped with a GPS system so when he does take the family road tripping, getting lost won’t be a problem.
You want versatile? You can take the boss on a business trip Friday, take the wife and kids wherever they have to go Saturday, and then go tailgating with your buddies on Sunday. How cool would it be to tailgate with the quarterback???!!! It can all be done in a conversion van.
Dave Arbogast makes finding the perfect conversion van easy. Check out the entire inventory at Dave Arbogast Conversion Vans state of the art website and do a brief search. Or if you are nearby, stop at the dealership at 3540 South County Road 25-a, just minutes from the Dayton International Airport. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to give us a call at 1-866-975-3257 for all the information you need to get the right conversion van for your needs. Who knows, you might see the quarterback in our showroom, looking for his van!
