In 1992, Dave Arbogast purchased Wampler Buick-Pontiac-GMC. Within one short year, it became apparent that the original dealership simply was not large enough to accommodate the vast plans of Dave Arbogast and the rapid growth of business that
fell quickly upon the dealership. It was then Dave Arbogast Purchased 35 acres of land right on I-75 with a vision of a State of the Art facility.
Construction began by working with General Motors to construct a prototype facility in which 100s of later dealerships would eventually be modeled after. The Buick-Pontiac-GMC building was the first of its type and completed only the first phase of the dealerships growth and expansion.
From there, Dave Arbogast was determined to not only be a driving force in the automotive industry, but set his sites on becoming one of the largest conversion van dealers in the United States. Dave Arbogast hand selected each and every conversion van company and only wanted to represent the finest of new and used custom conversion vans. From luxury conversion vans to custom built mobility vans, Dave Arbogast was determined to be an industry leader.
With a strong foundation build on Customer Satisfaction, automotive and conversion van success was only the first two examples of Dave Arbogast’s success. In 2004, Dave Arbogast continued to grow with the addition of the RV and Boat Depot – offering the finest selection of travel trailers, 5th wheels, motor homes and watercraft.
Winning awards from virtually every product carried, Dave Arbogast still attributes the key to his success being the simple fact of offering outstanding customer service. Whether it be a simple work vehicle or a luxurious conversion van or motor-home, understanding the customers needs and wants is job one.
There are literally thousands of dealerships offering any one of the many products found at Dave Arbogast, however how many of them can claim to represent all of them under one location and receive awards in each respective market? Building from success of being nothing more than a local dealership, Dave Arbogast has taken the same “hometown” spirit and successfully brought it to the world wide web.
